Časopis Acta Musei Beskidensis vstupuje do nové éry, kdy rozšiřuje svou působnost o online verzi publikování.

Novinky v silniční flóře Moravy a Slezska (Česká republika) 2: Limonium gmeliniČlánky

Novelties in the roadside flora of Moravia and Silesia (Czech Republic) 2: Limonium gmelini

Petr Kocián

Acta Musei Beskidensis vol. 14/2024:31-37 | DOI: 10.70231/amb.2024.004

The halophytic Limonium gmelini, a casual neophyte in the flora of the Czech Republic, is spreading along motorways in the eastern part of the country. First recorded on the D1 motorway near the city of Brno in 2009, its largest population was discovered on the D2 motorway in 2013. However, these populations disappeared by 2021 due to motorway reconstruction. Limonium gmelini grows on motorway central reservations and verges, spreading more slowly than other alien species in these habitats. In 2022 and 2023, new occurrences were documented on the D1 and D48 motorways, consisting of small, isolated populations separated by long distance.

The purpose of this article is to summarize the results of dragonfly and damselfly (Odonata) surveys at the locality of Bedřichův klaus Beskydy Protected Landscape Area (Czech Republic). Odonates were studied by sampling adults, larvae, and exuvia in the period from 2013 to 2024 at four different sites with stagnant waters (Bedřichův klaus reservoir) and running waters (Bílá Ostravice stream and a nameless stream). Altogether, only 17 species were documented at the site. Two of them, Onychogomphus forcipatus and Cordulegaster bidentata, are listed as near threatened in the Czech Red List.

Acta Musei Beskidensis 2023, 13:102-119 | DOI: 10.70231/amb.2023.005

This study deals with a survey of butterflies (Papilionoidea) and burnets (Zygaenoidea) occurring in Obidová Nature Monument (Beskydy Protected Landscape Area). Extensive monitoring of the locality was conducted between 2007 and 2023 (more intensively during 2011 and 2023). Specimens were captured by net sweeping the vegetation and zigzag walking at the locality. Altogether 47 species were recorded, i.e. 44 butterfly and 3 burnet species. Regarding day-active Lepidoptera, the locality is important in terms of both species richness and species abundances. Some of the species are listed as endangered (e.g. Lycaena hippothoe, L. alciphron, Cyaniris...

Lžičník dánský (Cochlearia danica) konečně dorazil na severovýchod České republikyČlánky

Cochlearia danica has finally arrived in the northeastern part of the Czech Republic

Petr Kocián

Acta Musei Beskidensis 2023, 13:3-14 | DOI: 10.70231/amb.2023.001

Cochlearia danica, a recently discovered alien to the flora of the Czech Republic, was found also in the northeastern part of this country. The species was reported for the first time along Czech roads in 2016. Today, about 180 localities along motorways and roads are known, all of them in Bohemia, but one in Moravia. In 2022, new localities were found along motorways D48 and D1 and also along roads I/11 and I/48 in Czech Silesia in the eastern part of the country. Cochlearia danica was certainly introduced to the localities by road traffic. On the D48 motorway, it forms a large, about 6 km long linear population predominantly in the central...
