Reptiles and amphibians recorded from the area of Petrovice u Karviné (Czech Republic)

The article presents survey of the amphibian and reptile species recorded in the kadastre of Petrovice u Karviné that is situated in the northeastern extremity of the Czech Republic, in the Czech-Polen borderland. Five reptile and 14 amphibian species were confirmed there during 2007-8, all of them are listed in the Czech Red list.
