Litologické vlastnosti štěrků Libotínského potoka (Podbeskydská pahorkatina)

Lithologic characteristics of gravels of the Libotínský potok Stream (Podbeskydská pahorkatina Hilly Land)

Tomáš Galia

Acta Musei Beskidensis 2015, 7:1-8 | DOI: 10.70231/amb.2015.001

The paper describes downstream relationships between local sediment inputs, petrology and grain-size of bed sediments with measured grains of Di≥10 mm in the flysch-based Libotínský potok Stream (Podbeskydská pahorkatina Hilly Land, Outer Western Carpathians). Downstream increase of sandstone pebble share in bed sediments reflects their higher resistance and their continual delivery into the channel. Teschenites have their source zones in the upper part of studied basin and a gradual downstream decrease to ca. 15-20% of total pebble counts is observed. Soft claystones decrease from ca. 50% in the upper part to 20% in the lowermost parts. Grain-sizes...

Modelování transportu dnových splavenin v pramenném úseku řeky Lubiny v Moravskoslezských Beskydech

Acta Musei Beskidensis 2015, 7:9-22 | DOI: 10.70231/amb.2015.002

This paper is focused on modeling of bedload transport in mountain headwater streams in the Moravskoslezské Beskydy Mts. Based on field mapping of part of the Lubina River (length: 1014 m; catchment area 1.06 km2; average slope: 0.06 m.m-1) data for simulations of bedload transport were prepared for modeling of discharge Q2 and Q20 (the latter according to the flood discharge in May 2010). Several combinations of equations and calibration parameters values were used. Values of flow velocity, flow discharge, bedload discharge and accumulated bedload transport were simulated at 17 channel cross-sections. In total, 247-466 m3 (630-1188 tons) of bedload...

Poznámky k adventivní flóře severní Moravy a Slezska 4. Buglossoides arvensis a B. incrassata subsp. splitgerberi

Notes on the adventive flora of northern Moravia and Silesia 4. Buglossoides arvensis and B. incrassata subsp. splitgerberi

Acta Musei Beskidensis 2015, 7:23-37 | DOI: 10.70231/amb.2015.003

Taxonomy of the genus Buglossoides (Boraginaceae) in the Czech Republic was recently reassessed. Three taxa from this group were revealed to occur in the country - B. arvensis, B. incrassata subsp. splitgerberi and B. incrassata subsp. incrassata. Based on a revision of herbarium specimens, the former two are present in northern Moravia and Silesia. Both taxa should be classified as archaeophytes. Buglossoides incrassata subsp. splitgerberi is probably recently spreading around the railways.

Příspěvek k výskytu průtržníku lysého (Herniaria glabra, Caryophyllaceae) na severovýchodní Moravě (Frýdeckomístecko, Ostravsko a Karvinsko)

Contribution to the occurrence of Smooth Rupturewort (Herniaria glabra, Caryophyllaceae) in the northeastern Moravia (disticts of Frýdek-Místek, Ostrava and Karviná)

Acta Musei Beskidensis 2015, 7:39-45 | DOI: 10.70231/amb.2015.004

The article resumes extension of Herniaria glabra L. in districts of Frýdek-Místek, Ostrava and Karviná. Data based on the published and herbarium data are sorted according to phytogeografic units. Most often Smooth Rupturewort was recorded on phytogeographical district of the Ostravská pánev Basin - especially in heaps, along railways, at the stations, on alluvium - a total of 39 herbarium specimens. Nine specimens belongs to the Beskydské podhůří Piedmont - especially on alluvium or in the gaps of paving, one specimen belongs to the Jablunkovské mezihoří Intermountains and four to the Radhošťské Beskydy Mts.

Ploštice (Heteroptera) beskydských a podbeskydských rašelinných biotopů 5. Přírodní památka Byčinec

True Bugs (Heteroptera) of the Beskidian and Subbeskidian peaty habitats 5. Byčinec Nature Monument

Acta Musei Beskidensis 2015, 7:47-65 | DOI: 10.70231/amb.2015.005

In 2012 the Heteroptera community of the peaty meadow and its closest surroundings was studied in the Byčinec Nature Monument (Moravskoslezské Beskydy Mts). So far, 59 species of Heteroptera have been confirmed in this valuable habitat. Two of them are listed in the Czech Redlist - critically endangered tyrphobiont species Lamproplax picea (Rhyparochromidae) and Chlorochroa juniperina (Pentatomidae).

Příspěvek k poznání vertebratofauny údolí Bílé Ostravice v Moravskoslezských Beskydech (Česká Republika)

Contribution to the knowledge of vertebrate fauna of the Bílá Ostravice Stream valley in the Moravskoslezské Beskydy Mts (Czech Republic)

Acta Musei Beskidensis 2015, 7:67-75 | DOI: 10.70231/amb.2015.006

Bílá Ostravice Stream - a 9.6 km long watercourse rises at 720 m a. s. l. in the Moravskoslezské Beskydy Mts. It is one of the two stream sources of the Ostravice River which was historically established as border between Moravia and Silesia. Our vertebratological survey was focused on amphibian, reptile and bird diversity along the Bílá Ostravice. Mammals were not systematically studied due to huge taxonomical heterogeneity, they were recorded rather randomly. This study is just a part of botanical-zoological researches of the Ostravice River valley which started at the Bílá Ostravice Stream section in 2014.Surroundings of the Bílá Ostravice Stream...
