Fauna a explorace rozsedlinové jeskyně Cyrilka

The fauna and exploration of the Cyrilka crevice-type cave

Jan Lenart, Jiří Kupka

Acta Musei Beskidensis 2018, 10:1-11 | DOI: 10.70231/amb.2018.001

The Cyrilka cave is the second longest pseudokarst cave and the longest crevice-type cave in Czechia. This cave developed within the headscarp area of a deep-seated landslide. The cave became a focus of scientific research throughout the last decades, when several speleological maps have been compiled. We compared the maps in order to better understand the gradual exploration as well as the speleogenetic evolution of the cave. In recent years, we performed the preliminary faunistic survey in the cave and found 11 invertebrates and 5 vertebrates. The locality is threatened by many visitors and contamination by littering. We recommend the protection...

Květena Vendryně a sousedních vsí (Slezsko, Česká republika)

Flora of the Vendryně village and adjacent villages (Silesia, Czech Republic)

Nikol Kantorová

Acta Musei Beskidensis 2018, 10:13-109 | DOI: 10.70231/amb.2018.002

This article deals with the vascular flora of the villages Vendryně, Nýdek, Bystřice and of the Třinec town districts Horní Líštná and Dolní Líštná in Silesia in the north-eastern part of the Czech Republic. A review of plant records is presented, and these literature records are evaluated and supplemented by field records from April 2012 to April 2015 and additionally also from spring and summer 2018. A survey of literature and botanical databases yielded 778 species. An important source of floristic data is the database of the Czech flora and vegetation Pladias. During the field survey, 560 species from those listed in the available sources were...

Ploštice (Heteroptera) beskydských a podbeskydských rašelinných biotopů 8. Přírodní památka Pod hájenkou Kyčera

True Bugs (Heteroptera) of the Beskidian and Subbeskidian peaty habitats 8. Pod hájenkou Kyčera Natural Monument

Magdaléna Roháčová

Acta Musei Beskidensis 2018, 10:111-129 | DOI: 10.70231/amb.2018.003

In 2015 the heteropteran community of the peaty meadow and its closest surroundings was studied in the Pod hájenkou Kyčera Natural Monument (Moravskoslezské Beskydy Mts). So far, 67 species of Heteroptera have been confirmed in this mire locality. Four of them are listed in the Czech redlist - nearly threatened Rhopalus maculatus, vulnerable Pachybrachius luridus and endangered species Chartoscirta cocksii and Ligyrocoris sylvestris. The last three mentioned species are tied to the peatbogs and are tyrphophilous and tyrphobiontic species, also Rhopalus maculatus regularly occurs on mire habitats. As for seasonal dynamics of the heteropterans in the...

Hnízdní populace husy velké (Anser anser) na severovýchodní Moravě a ve Slezsku (Česká republika) v letech 2009-2010

Breeding population of the Greylag Goose (Anser anser) in the north-eastern Moravia and Silesia (Czech Republic) in years 2009-2010

Karel Pavelka

Acta Musei Beskidensis 2018, 10:131-153 | DOI: 10.70231/amb.2018.004

In 2009-2010 breeding populations of the Greylag Goose in the north-eastern Moravia and Silesia were monitored in five breeding regions (in total 142 water reservoirs and 1972,3 ha of water area). In both years, we confirmed breeding of Greylag Goose on 33 water reservoirs; we estimated the breeding populations at 70-71 pairs in 2009 and 79-81 pairs in 2010. Four types of water reservoirs with breeding of the Greylag Goose were distinguished. We estimate that ca 40 % from the entire population were nonbreeding individuals. Gooslings were observed only in 57,9 % of the breeding pairs. In 2010, average number of fledged goslings per brood was 3,37 (±...

Světlík Euphrasia picta (Orobanchaceae), nový druh pro flóru Moravskoslezských Beskyd

Eyebright Euphrasia picta (Orobanchaceae), a new species for the flora of the Moravskoslezské Beskydy Mts

Vlastimil Mikoláš

Acta Musei Beskidensis 2018, 10:155-158 | DOI: 10.70231/amb.2018.005

Euphrasia picta is synonymized with Euphrasia rostkoviana (= Euphrasia officinalis subsp. pratensis) in the Flora of the Czech Republic 6. However, it is probably real separate species in the Czech flora. It has been known only from the Hrubý Jeseník Mts and Králický Sněžník Mts. The species was found in the Moravskoslezské Beskydy Mts (part Radhošťské Beskydy) on Travný Mt. It is possible to suppose that the species is neglected because of difficult taxonomy of the genus Euphrasia and it will certainly be found on new localities in the Moravskoslezské Beskydy Mts.
